I called Tickemaster last night and they said the presales would be available from 9 am on Wednesday August 22. BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THIS FOR YOURSELVES...! I think you have to be a 'subscriber' to Ticketek and/or Ticketmaster to be included in any 'exclusive' deals. Hope this helps. I didn't sleep very well last night....!!

The extremely helpful Glenn from the ticket outlet in Adelaide confirms that the presale will begin on the 22nd of August. As for Sleepless in Sydney... can't offer much advice, except maybe some warm milk half an hour before bed time? Or a warm bath? Or some Enya? (just kidding on the last one) I know I won't rest until I have my mitts on some tix. Hey... that rhymes! Meanwhile, what the hell has happened to the forum? We've gone back to the 'old' board, which seems to suggest that all the threads and posts etc from the 'new' board have been lost/deleted/removed. Either way, I can't access the new board. I know this isn't really the place to mention it, but .... boo ya sucks!

I've jumped the gun- jumped the shark- whatever- and bought my plane ticket from Melbourne to Brisbane- then my ticket from Brisbane to Sydney. Jetstar has some cheap fares at the moment- that finish Tuesday 21 August. But don't be fooled into thinking jetstar is always cheaper. They were quoting $139 Brisvegas to Sydney - and I got a ticket from Qantas for $ 102. I'd better get Rufy tickets - or I'll just camp outside in the foyer and the stage door if I miss out- ( BUT THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN!!!!) - seeing I'm going to have to go there now!!

So, it's not clear whether the presale notice will come from Ticketmaster/Ticketek or from the Rufus site? If anyone knows for sure, please advise.

Not sure- but I do get pre-sale notices through my e mails from those agencies. I guess maybe the date and time will be announced here- and possibly the link? Not sure. Are we all suffering anxiety attacks??? On another note- someone posted on the forums there's a tour date for February 4 in New Zealand on another site. That puts paid to my idea (fervent hope!!) that maybe there was going to be a Judy concert at the Sydney Opera House between Melbourne's February 1 gig and Adelaide's February 7 gig. (Sad face here) But happy for the Kiwi fans!

Hi guys! Supposedly presale tickets go on sale tomorrow but Ticketmaster tells me I'll need a password from the fan club? Anyone got any info...

Dont have any new info re password, but hoping, maybe something will get posted tonight, as i too have been onto Ticketmaster and they said access will be through website.

According to Ticketmaster the presale is tomorrow -Wednesday at 9.00 am. Does that mean if there's no access code from the website we can't buy the tickets? I've already had to organise to change shifts with someone- and then get to work late- so that I can access the internet from home- because I have no access at work. I'll be mightily p*ssed if I've done all of that for naught- and the access to the pre-sale occurs later in the day - or the next day and I'll miss out ! Some of us have working lives and can't organise to get on line at the drop of a hat any minute of any day. It would be so great if some forward planning and information was forthcoming for these sorts of things!

Yeah, I don't wanna be whiny, but I'd really like to know some more info... when are tix on sale, where can i get them etc? Please?? Again, don't want to whine, but I'll cry if I miss out. And that's not a pretty sight.

I have often noticed that because of time zone differeces, when Rufus' management post pre-sale in advance, IT IS in advance for them in the States but after the event here in UK and positively history for you guys in Oz. However in this instance, because of its relevance, I trust it won't be so this time:-) . . . . .that said, I am prepared to sit up through the night and check - not so easy for Australians who have to be at work. (Fingers crossed nightOwl.)

Thanks pp. I've gone to Plan B now. Swapped shifts back so I have a lunch break at noon. Now all I need is to check I can use the computer in the Community Centre next door and hope and pray the link or the password or the magic fairy dust I have to sprinkle is available to get on line to buy the freaking tickets!!! What should be a joyous exciting anticipation is turning into an absolutely stressful tangle of uncertainty. For me and others I'm guessing.

At 12 tomorrow (EST), I'll be on a plane to Perth! Aaarrgghhh! I won't be able to get near a computer until at least 3 pm EST! All you guys (and all the fairweather fans) will get tickets before me. DAMN. However, what do people think would be the better place to be, at the State Theatre in Sydney: Mezzanine, Dress Circle or Stalls?

I've been up since 5 am ! Since I couldn't sleep I vaccuumed the house, washed all the dishes -- hell, I even cleaned the bathroom. So thanks to Rufus everything is all nice and sparkly. Then I busted a boiler to get in here by 9am -- to discover that now the tix don't go on sale until 12! arhghghghghghghgh

Finally the password worked, I now have tickets. Took the first lot offered, not as close to the man as I would like to be but good enough. Hope everybody who really wants to be there, gets there. Good luck.

Got em! 3rd row! (Row BB, these are an optional 3 rows extra close to the stage in front of a onwards!) For Sydney/Melbourne you MUST follow the special address from this Rufus Website (copy and paste it isn't a hyperlink), as ticketmaster otherwise says that Rufus tix are on sale on the 27th if you just go thru ticketmaster's Rufus page. Click on the 'more info' hyperlink on this special page. Use your 'slideshow' password. BUT when buying tixkets note that it again asks for a password, but this time it is asking you to type in the words from the graphics box displayed to prevent hackers, it isn't asking for 'slideshow' again. Get into it, the tickets are GOOD! YAY!

I got my tickets!! Yay! Now I just have to wait patiently til Feb.... :(

Unless I'm dreaming I got front row for Brisbane (picks self off the floor), second row for Adelaide and OK for Sydney and Melbourne. What a lucky bunny! Can't wait to get back to Oz.

I got FF26 for Brisbane. B30 for Adelaide. But lucked out in Melbourne and Sydney- because I couldn't get in with the password -I checked brisvegas and Adelaide first- and by the time I got back to Ticketmaster - I've got Row J32 for Sydney and E33 for Melbourne. I was so excited I forgot my son's coming to the Melbourne concert with me - and only brought one ticket! Just checked for two and it's back to row S. I'm not giving up my row E seat- so managed to snaffle Row G for my son. Think he's probably quite relieved he doesn't have to sit with me! I probably will wear my ruby red sparkly basketball boots!

Spoke to Ticketmaster today who say tix go on sale 9am Thursday 6 Sept, with a presale from Monday 3 Sept (I think). Does anyone know how these presale thingies work?

The presale tickets go up at 12pm tomorrow (monday) and the lady at ticketmaster said it will be a different password etc... so unless the link gets put up again with a new password I'm at a loss for how we're supposed to buy them!

I had row C but low numbers so stuffed around looking at the map thinking they might have been right in the corner (they werent) and in that time I lost them. Anyway went straight back and got row E, so not bad.
