I saw Rufus on July 28 in Vancouver and was touched by the intimacy of the evening, the joyous energy that filled the venue...saw him again in Montreal last Friday night and am still fragile from the raw , magucal , wondrous evening that we all shared. The duet with Martha, his emotional thanks to his partner and his honouring his mother with his sweet words ...... a passionate and so very personal evening.
