What an amazing,amazing concert. Despite a limp piano mike and the adolecent seats at the ML. The concert took me to such a bittersweet and brilliantly lovely place. His voice is like gold dust covered bell tones. I have not been this happy in months. My heart ached for the days when "gay' meant "gay". The days of poppers and T dances. I miss the boys so much! I cannot even say. So many friends are gone. Too many. And then this little slice of floppy haired angelically lyrical heaven comes to town. Thank you Rufus. Don't hate ALL Californians...we all have to come from somewhere. What a gift to this town. I noticed the audience was a mix of what might have been all the gay men in town. the cool geeks from UCSB. Some groovy older couples. The "girls". and the very "straight not narrow" set. You rock Rufus! emo
