Vibrate is my favourite 'Want One' track! I mean, the lyrics are so amazing and great. It's a very simple but very moving song. I'm in love with Vibrate!

I love to listen to this one really loud. The intro is so simple, but its fantastic. Then Rufus starts singing and it gets even better.

The next step to recovery on my part. Fabulous.

hehe love the long drawn out note! when he does it live it's usually a mystery whether or not he'll be able to hold it or not lol. and even if he doesn't, he's so funny about it that nobody cares!
fave line: "but still i never ever feel from you." pure genius.

Even though I know he's gonna make it (on the recording, anyway), I still hold my breath when he sings that really really really long drawn-out note. And because I hold my breath at the same time as he takes his, by the end of it I almost drop dead on the floor. Am I weird? Please discuss.

I love the simplicity of the song and the beautiful lyrics, 'Pinnochio's now a boy, who wants to turn back into a toy' - sublime

Its only very recently that I realised that the line, "Pinocchio's now a boy who wants to turn back into a toy" is a statement and not a question, "Pinocchio's now a boy. Who wants to turn back into a toy?"

I'm going to keep thinking of it as a question becuase its happier.

This is one of favorite songs........his lyrics are so pure and voice is extraordinary. This songs brings to another world and sometimes all I want to do is listen to it all day long,,,,,,

on the very first line, when he sings 'vibrate' at the long 'i' sound, it's almost like he's singing with two voices. does that make sense?
haha probably not. it's just it sounds like he's got the same note on two slightly different pitches or something. (not sure if i'm using the terminology properly.) i think someone mentioned this on the rufus' voice thread about him singing with an open larynx or something. is that what that means? hehe i really like the sound of it in any case!

I love this song. Me and my mum have competitions to see who can hold this note when we are driving in the car and i am always proud of myself when i do it.It is so fun (you should try it).
