Re; Sein

A track I think is often overlooked or lost in general, most likely due to it being a bonus track. I truly believe this song is beautiful, and in its short duration in managed to encompass all the ideologies/aspects to Rufus' work that makes me worship his music as I do. One of my very favourite Rufus songs.
One line I love in particular, mainly because of how he delivers it has to be 'I won't cry.. / No time for crying left'. Beautiful.

Gorgeous Song

This is a very very very beautiful piece of music. One of my favourites. It may have more meaning for me than for others as I have dedicated the past two years to researching the life and music of Ludwig van Beethoven. As many people know he is famed to have written "Muß es sein? Es muß sein!" on the manuscript of one of his later string quartets (opus 135 I think by don't quote me on it!) so that fits perfectly. As well as this the lyrics of the song could very well describe Beethoven just as much as it could describe Rufus. The fact that he is 'going to die a noble death' is very significant because that was what Beethoven always thought. He could do what he liked on this Earth because he wrote his music for humanity and therefore earned his place with God. Beethoven had his noble death. This song seems to speak for Rufus and Beethoven so therefore encompasses my two favourite artists of all time. Beautiful.

Aaw thank you! I have actually just had a look, and found it on 7 Digital, so I downloaded it. I do have Want One, but it's not on there.

I agree, it's very beautiful. Another song by Rufus that is so moving!
