Rufus Wainwright

This is still my favorite Rufus song.
Initially it was edged out by "Danny Boy." And I still love, love, love "Danny Boy," but if some horrible circumstance forced me onto a desert island with only one Rufus song, it would be "Foolish Love."

Aw, this was the first Rufus song I ever heard. I guess you could say it was this song that made me fall in love with his music. *sigh*

I've always loved this song, especially the lyric:

''and the day noah's ark floats down park my eyes will be simply glazed over, or better yet I'll wear shades on sunless days and when the suns out I'll stay in and slumber..."

Ah yes kizee. This was the lyric that made me fall in love with Rufus. So arch, witty and beautifully observed. I remember referring to it in my very first newbie post on the old board. In fact if I remember correctly you made a reply referring to it. xx
