I totally agree and so much more... Maybe they just rushed the new site and it will improve in time, or possibly if we don't complain they will just get complacent and not bother. I keep an open mind.

I know I posted this on the old board, but I think it will just take time to get it going.

The main page says: "We are all really excited about it, and Geffen promises us that new features on the site and the Message Board community will continue to be rolled out over the coming months with many capabilities which were impossible in the past. For now, we think it looks pretty good, pretty basic, but it's just going to get better."

I know it is frustrating right now, but I think it'll be fine in the long run. : )

Title says it all, was quite attached to the little fella but new board no likey!!! Lots of arty pics here....not sure if I'll fit in?!

The old board had a feature I liked- you could see all posts in last 24, 48 hrs- I have a hard time fishing thru all the subject headings now to see what is new.

I quite like it actually! Its got a very clean (?) and accessible feel to it, its absolutely grandsure!

I've just ventured over to the old board for the first time....OMG! It really seems like a community.
I like the minimalist look of this one, but the other board seems so, well, lived in, like a comfortable pair of shoes.
Does anyone know if there is any way I can use my login on this board to get into the old board, or do i need to sign up seperately?

I think it would be nice to have a Private Message function on this Board.

I think the new forum is fine I just need:

- ability to post pictures

you can post pictures. lol. i've put a bunch on the pictures thread of the general discussion section. you have to use
hope that makes sense lol just take the url and put the img src= and the quotations and brackets around it.
or just quote someone's picture to see how they did it.

Oh yeah, I can see how pictures work now.

Also a complaint is that I joined this new forum and sometimes the same web address takes me to the old forum and there I no longer have an account so can't post :(
