You need a < at the start of the above and a > at the end.
I really hope that makes sense! Haven't tried it out yet, but I just quoted a post that had a picture in it and that was what the code looked like. :-D
It's a great step forward that pictures can be posted!

here's my attempt Which didn't work, several times Does this look right?
Nice try! lol. That keeps happening to me and I've taken up two posts (all failures) *cries* elsewhere on this forum. Perhaps we can keep this place as a picture rehearsal place? I'm sure that I saw Mirthfus post a couple of pictures on the Jörn and Rufus thread.
LittleOrchid - if you've a photobucket account, simply click on the HTML tag code (the middle option) under the picture of your choice. That will copy the code for you. Once you're back here in a text box for your posting right click your mouse and choose paste option (unless you have a MAC, in which case, you hold down the apple key and press v). Your chosen pic will appear in the posting (and appear as code in your text box) Art
....work for me, Art. I've tried typing the html in, cutting and pasting a working posted picture's code and just putting a different Url in, clicking the html tag in photobucket......and, lastly---drawing the picture as best I could on the screen of my laptop while on the thread I wanted the picture to appear on.
The last attempt was the closest I've come, so far---definitely the most amusing. (Does anyone have a screen cleaner?)
... I just tried to post my banner the usual way and it won't work...!!!
<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/SEDUM/rwbanner03.gif" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>
Now, Rhapsody - your code wasn't entirely like mine, the address at the start was for your pic, not the photobucket website, and my pic source code starts with an 'i4' prefix, while yours has an 'img' prefix. Perhaps that's where it's going wrong. I tried to look at your folder, but the album is private, so i can't see what you see when you choose your code. Art
PS - littleOrchid, the roses are from my garden and the big red one came from the same bush that I cut my big, fragrant rose for my lapel for the Rufus gig in Bristol *grin*
It's a puppy! (I think...) Isn't it the cutest thing you ever saw? But I am a little worried about how they got it to hold on like that...my OH says they've probably just stapled his paws to that bamboo. Ouch, I hope not.
I just love your attempt. Are you tempted to attempt some more attempts now that your first attempt has worked, cos that pic is very tempting indeed!!! :) :)
