I really think this "THE ARENA" for Rufus. When I visit the arena I just though "I want to listen to Rusfus here. Just Rufus and his piano....=D
The arena is "Dalhalla" and Antony played at the arena last summer.

I really hope to see you there.
I am sure someone else is likely to have clear knowledge whether or not Martha is in midst of recording a 2nd album. I got attracted to her independantly of already being a Rufus fan, but like Rufus missed out on seeing Martha on her 1st tour to Australia.
It would be delightful to know there is another great album forthcoming, making it possible for another tour and appearences on Australian music quiz game shows.
i'm not going to say where i'd like travel because i can be writing all day... but if someone ask me now, at this moment, i`ll answer him/her: Sydney, i want to see the opera ... and you? P.D: also put some pictures of your best journey please!!! P.D.2: if someone has been at Sydney's opera it will be great if he/she show me some pictures ,thanks!!
Hey whats everyone listening to right now? im listening to some dude called 'Simon Le Fort' he is actually so much better than i thought he would be! a mate of mine said "you like rufus wainwright and stuff dont you?" i said "yes why?" and he said "well i have just been listening to this guys myspace and all he reminds me of is rufus wainwright." whoever is a real fan of Rufus and has a minute log on to simonlefort.com listen to some of the tracks hes got on there.
I thought I should start this new thread, it's summer time and lets talk about vacations. :D OMG more 3 weeks and I'll be off. But my true vacation will be in September when I get back to London for a week. I'm counting the days.
For me Mr Bojangles sung by Nina Simone gets me every time.
Sufjan Stevens's Casimir Pulaski Day also sets me off.
And the other day I was watching a music channel and they were playing all the usual poppy nonsense like Rhianna umbrella hey hey hey when all of a sudden on came Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush, Don't Give Up and that was it I was gone! Well done Pete fab song!
Can anyone enlighten me as to why we have two boards? This must be more costly to Rufus than one board! The new board is attractive but not user friendly. Could we not take the best of both and incorporate them into one board? I have already e-mailed his management company about this, but never got a reply. If I really want to post something, or learn something, I go to the old board!
Come on Rufus management or whomever is responsible for this. Get with it, and have one board in which we are all comfortable! How difficult can this be?
1. The Other Side of This Life by David Byrne to make them laugh... 2. Under The Ivy by Kate Bush to make them cry... 3. and Billie Jean by Michael Jackson just to surprise them a bit at the end.
God its shit here. lousy wet floods the lot. Its Gay Pride in London tomorrow and its going to piss down what with that and the bomb scares I rekon I'm going to the only one to turn up...great it'll be me in a pair of hotpants and a dyke on a bike.
I need to get some extra money but there's no way I'm selling my rare CD items. So I decided to check my old stuff tomorrow... but the only things I can think are some old toys... For example this: But who wants that? LOL maybe I'd sell it for $2 so it's not really worth it...
1. Toys 2. old cd's (which i don't have) 3. Philips Beard Trimmer (just used it once) 4. no idea (...)
You guys seen the Match.com "Still gay!" ad? It's awesome! The first commercial in the US to have an openly gay character--as far as I know-and to make mention of the horrid "Anti-Gay Movement aka hardcore movement," whose participants claim does not exist. HISTORIC & HYSTERICAL! I LOVE IT! (((mumblewhistlecoughjanglescratch...)))nope. STILL GAY!
A cute red-head persues a "girlie-magazine" with a perplexed look on his face, then finall scratches his head (maybe) and says, "Nope. Still gay!" It is AWESOME!
And you're not crazy if you think people around you are harassing you 'cause you're gay. There's a lot of "anti-gay" people out there and they do and say outrageous stuff to gay folks. There's an anti-gay movement called "hardcore," for one thing. They talk about stuff like "be the gatekeeper of your soul" and all sorts of other non-sense. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOU'RE GAY. THEY ARE COO-COO.
What other bands or singers do you like? I would highly recommend the band Guggenheim Grotto, their website is www.guggenheimgrotto.com, but check out Told You So and Everyman on Youtube! Stunning stuff, a geady mix of folk and pop, everyone should hear them!
