ooh ooh thought of another new topic...What song(s) do you want played at your funeral
lets keep it to a maximum of three..
1. The Other Side of This Life by David Byrne to make them laugh... 2. Under The Ivy by Kate Bush to make them cry... 3. and Billie Jean by Michael Jackson just to surprise them a bit at the end.
It just so happens that if you click on the link below in my signature, (sorry forgot, copy and paste it) you will find The "Who Cares" Song. It's my latest creation and I think it just fits the bill (chuckles) it's really for my grandson, but it doesn't half fit this thread. It's a free mp3 download too, so there must be someone you want to send it too. (chuckles again)
Brown Eyed Girl by Van morrison. It's an amazing song, i have brown eyes and it's a song you can't help but get up and just twirl or spin your heart out too. I'd love to be remember like that.
{q a=[[fireflies]]}I WANT PEOPLE TO GOUGE THEIR EYES OUT CRYING AT MINE! {/q}
I kind of agree on that one, cry you bastards!!!
I'll have lots of ivy and white roses decked out in the crem so when kate starts singing "go into the garden go under the ivy go under the leaves for me, go right to the rose go right to the white rose i'll be waiting there for you...." there won't be dry eye in the house!!!
too funny as i was listening to the song RTS just today...I thought "i want this to be played at my funeral" I imagined a whole hollywood theme with glittery stars falling on everyone.
im pretty stuck on having ... rufus - in a graveyard jeff buckley - hallelujah.. and then maybe something a lil lighter lol. but in a graveyard i think is a lot less heavy and aching and bleak than hallelujah.

i like you're idea v much i might nick it. of course i'll have to die first otherwise eveyone will know where i got the idea from!!!!!
I want full sobbing and wailing at mine. But a full on party afterwards.....
And, I want all my Rufus albums in my coffin,you just never know?{/q} Oh, John Lennon good choice.
I'm with ya. I want all my favorite cd's in my coffin. Like you said you never know. What if everyone up in heaven like Phil Collins or something. I'd rather hell. lol.
Mine would be : Going underground (By Jam) even though cremation appeals to me more as (and this links to "the biggest fear" tread) I'm really scared to be buried alive..... But then being burned alive scares me as well!! I wish I could be immortal!
