I agree. It's not rocket science! And I've e-mailed management too...with the same results. :(

I like this new forum but it was a wrong thing. I thought they'd just change the layout of the old forum. But if they wanted to change for a new one why keeping the other one up? For example No Doubt 2 years ago closed the forum for a month and then they launched a new updated one.

Really this way they're splitting fans. Hope very soon they take a decision. Or at least they should block people for posting there. This way we could read all the old stuff but posting here till we get used to it and then forget the old one.

It's a shame they couldn't take the old board and just give it a new look.

I agree with you Wilma,I'ts very frustrating to be between boards,I don't know how other fan sites operate as I have only ever been on the old and this board,but I do hope things will change soon.
And I do hope that the things aren't too fractured between the two boards that they, hopefully, can become fully functional as one.

I don't know where to go either! Sometimes I double post - one here one there - because I don't know who read what and who will write back where. But that takes a lot of time. We'll see... I'm sure something will be figured out with time!

Couldn't agree more- I can't keep track of both so I have been staying with the new-mainly because I check it for news updates but I feel like I have lost old friends. How can we fix this?

I clicked on the link to the old one this morning and wondered what was happening......after the initial shock of the new layout.....I did actually sit..well jumped back in my seat as I hadnt got my eyesight and it was very bright....but when focussed.....yes...its nice and its still got all its functions.... mmmm what will they do next............

My theory is that there will only be one board. A re-hashed old one. Thank god I say. It's just a bit anaemic at the moment. Needs a bit of colour.

i only recently joined the new board after staying at this one..... personally i feel as though everybody there (who have been there for years!) is really close with each other and this board is a little more newbie-accessable... that's just my POV though from being a newbie....

i still kind of don't feel like i'm welcome there. don't get me wrong, everybody there is extremely nice and helpful :) but i feel more comfortable here.

Jackie of course you are so welcome on the old board. You actually have a more than average number of posts on you newbie thread. Yes, a lot of us have been on the board a while, know each other well, and met each other. That does not mean that newbies are not welcome. That is a myth perpetuated by a few. Please keep posting, join in and have fun.

i know that its not intended... you are all a great group of people and i enjoy reading your posts :) i will partake in discussion when i can, but for some reason i like this new board a little bit more...

i gotta agree with you about this new one being more newbie accessible. i used to check out the old board occasionally for pics and stuff, but i never joined it... i dunno it felt too daunting and scary for some reason lol. but i decided to join this one cuz it just seemed to me that it was about time i did so and i do like the look of this one. it's less cluttered (no offense to the old board but sometimes it's a tad distracting)
so now that they seem to be bringing the other one back, i feel like i should probably join the old one or else i'll be missing out on info or pics or something. argh haha this is so crazy! i just wish they could have better organized their transition between boards or whatever. i was a little disappointed that a lot of the old boardies were quick to dismiss this new place :(

I'm sorry. Maybe I can help (key word there being 'maybe'.)

This board was created as a spin off of the original board when RTS came out. Consequently, and because the original board's scheme was still designed for Want Two, it became the "official" board. Unfortunately, I don't believe management was able to deliver all the functions here that they said they would (PMs, Search, etc.) with this new board, and just recently reverted back to using the original board - with all it's functionality - as the "official" board. It would certainly be less confusing if there were just one forum, but who knows what management has in store for the future.

I've been a member of the original board for about a year, and appreciate all it offers and all the friendhships I've made there, but also like this board and its members as well.

Yes the mangmt had to do something,it was all getting out of control.
on another note crazystairs...thanks for all your help to my sis with the youtube thing,we all had a ball,and my hat kept dropping somewhere past my chin(all that keep fit lark made me lose weight in the wrong place haha).x

I miss talking to all the new people who came on this board,so I do hope they all come over to the other one.It seems a shame when so many new friendships have been formed on board not to be able to carry them on,especially when we don't know when they are going to close this link down.

I'm still rather conflicted. I do miss this board and sad it has whittled down to zero post per day.
I'm not much of a board poster anywhere, I lurk and only post when I feel I need to do so. Anyhow I think I liked this one better.

1. I don't believe there is a link on the old board to the new one unfortunately; you'll just have to keep it bookmarked.

2. If you're not registered I don't believe you'll be able to post or reply.

3. If you're unable to get onto the old board from this one with your current username and password, you may have to re-register.

I'll try to answer your questions.

1. There's indeed no link to get from the old board to this new one.

2. To post a reply, just click on "Reply" at the upright corner of the post you want to send a reply/comment to.

3. Yes, you have to re-register. You're usually approved the same day.

I don't understand the technical issues at all with the internet,but if the old board is down,why is this not down as well if they are both linked together?
I'm not complaining about this one still being up,far from it,but it gets even more confusing and frustrating!! :(

so i'm glad it's not just me that's having problems. i saw i received a lot of PMs while i was away and it's frustrating not being able to answer them! but i AM alive lol so hopefully the other board will revive
