what are you listening to?
Hey whats everyone listening to right now? im listening to some dude called 'Simon Le Fort' he is actually so much better than i thought he would be! a mate of mine said "you like rufus wainwright and stuff dont you?" i said "yes why?" and he said "well i have just been listening to this guys myspace and all he reminds me of is rufus wainwright." whoever is a real fan of Rufus and has a minute log on to simonlefort.com listen to some of the tracks hes got on there.

Right now i'm trying to listen to the new Crowded House record. But i;m not feeling it. I'm having musical ADD right now, nothing seems to be fitting my mood.
rascal102 are you listening to every song you have on your IPOD? wow!!! I only have a shuffle and I can't listen to every song on there.

I have a nano but the problem I find with putting it on random is that it resets itself once you've charged it and ends up picking the same songs as it plays the ones it thinks you want to hear, i.e. the ones its just played before... so not truly random!!! by playing them all one by one i get to hear them all and its amazing how many i have on there which i have no clue about even though they're from my own record collection! I am currently on song no 416 of 917 which is Left Behind by Zero 7

I'm listening to the Giants/Dodger game right now as i'm reading these posts. Bonds is up now in the 6th inning, hoping to chase Hank Aaron's home run record. NOPE...he just got out, not happening this inning. After the game i'll most likely put on Poses and get ready for tomorrow nights show in Santa Rosa. I can't wait! This will be my first Rufus concert and I can hardly contain myself. I'll think of you all as I sit in the 3rd row just to the right of center stage. Gonna be good!

I have to say it is really well done soundtrack, I had my doubts tho. My kids are all over this cd, it has replaced hannah montana in their current rotation.

as I am catching up on all posts..........
MMMMmm I have just listened to a few tracks on this album I understand what you are saying, and ok its his Debut album but........his voice brought me out in a sweat I dont think I could listen to all of his songs. I tried to get past that and concentrate on the lyrics but had to turn him off..........*sorry* ... my personal opinion is that...no one could ever come close as to being like RUFUS or remind me of RUFUS...I couldnt even think...mmmm, maybe, yeah sort of etc ...nope ...RUFUS is the one and ONLY.......( I have tunnel vision I'm afraid)......but thanks anyway for the info, others might see the comparison tho'

I've listened to most of the Drake Bell Cd, I have to get my butt going Kids want to go buy the new Aly and AJ ( i'm taking them to the concert in a few weeks.
Me I now have my headphones on listening to Poses. But i'm going to have to turn the volume up, the girls have moved on over to Harry Connick.

omg that's so funny you say that. i just saw them july 24th here in switzerland! i was right at the front in the mosh pit (painful!!) and yea they put on quite a kick-ass show! lots of flashing lights and hardcore video effects and stuff.
haha and i've had starlight stuck in my head ever since lol.
but today.... omg people. Shine So Bright by lovely, sexy Teddy!! i tell you, i can't stop listening. it's like a sickness... haha

yea they were really awesome! i've been trying to put my damn videos of muse on stage on youtube but each time it gets uploaded it tells me it failed. arghh i'm so annoyed! haha. so yea people. still listening to shine so bright. oh and au fond du temple saint, the david byrne/rufus duet of that bizet thing
