Rufus is Houdini. With a twist of that toussled head and those raggedy Andy eyes coupled with a surreal voice and lyrics that are so real they hurt, the Houdini is the magic that only being Rufus can conjure. His craft transforms me every time it is in my presence. So, of course, it's magic. And at the gig in Englewood NJ, that Rufus hokus pokus was miraculous.
