Rufus Wainwright

I was first exposed to Rufus on Valentines Day in 2005 when he played solo at The Basement in Sydney. As soon as he walked on stage and opened his mouth singing Agnus Dei, I was breathless. I couldn't believe that I hadn't known him prior to that night. Since then I have become a true fan and own every CD & DVD that he has produced. I also saw him at the State Theatre in Sydney on both of the nights he was here (29th & 30th January 2008). Rufus you are amazing and your voice is like true velvet that allows the soul to travel. I haven't stopped listening to Release the Stars CD (and all the others!). Love to you Rufus and look forward to more beautiful works of art from you. Next time you're out here, I'd love to meet you and have a happy snap taken :) xxxxx
